The best time for watering is in the morning. Watering in the evening attracts snails which eat the tender roots. Water logging in the pot should be avoided.

Sufficient holes should be provided for drainage. Soil should not be clayey. Rose can or minishower can be used for watering.

Soil should not be disturbed while watering.

Rain water is the best. Tap water leaves calcite deposit on foliage. If so, use water standing in a tub. Water from filter point tube well is also good.
