How to Select Bonsai Pots?
Pots should be shallow. Maximum 10cm height.
Round, oval, rectangular shaped pots can be used.
Clay pots, cement pots or ceramic pots can be used.
Pot gives beauty to Bonsai . So the pots selected should be beautiful.
Drainage hole should be provided in the bottom.
Plastic pots are not recommended.
If ceramic pots used, inside portion should be rough enough for the roots to catch hold in the pot.
The length of the pot should be 2/3 of the height of the plant and the
width of pot is 2/3 of the width of the canopy.
Beautiful stones with sufficient holes to accommodate bonsai can be
used as pot.
