Yellowing occurs if re-potting is not done properly. Repot annually and change the soil. Apply magnesium sulphate 1 gm in 1 ltr. of water. Drench 250 ml to a plant in the soil.

Organic Remedy for Rust disease in Bonsai
If rust or brown spots appear on leaves, remove the affected leaves. Spray the leaves of the plants with pseudomonas 20 gm/ltr water in the early morning or evening. It is an organic fungicide.
Organic Remedy for white mealy growth / Powdery mildew disease in Bonsai
Powdery mildew appears as a white mealy growth on leaf, spray with Psudomonas 20 gm/ 1 ltr water which is an organic fungicide early in the morning or evening. Drenching the soil with Pseudomonas solution enhances growth
Spraying with a neem based organic pesticide is also helpful. Eg. Neemarin 4ml/litr water on affected parts. Drench the soil with the same preparation for root infestation. While re-potting, wash the used pots inside and outside so that the mealy bugs can be controlled physically. Use neemcake fermented with water. 1 kg neem cake in 10 ltr water kept for 1 week. Stir with a stick once daily. Drench the solution 250 ml per plant will destroy the mealy bugs affected on roots. The pots along with the plants can be dipped in the solution for 5-10 minutes. It will also control the pest effectively.
